Since April 2011, H.I.H. Princess Takamado has contributed a serial to the women’s monthly magazine Fujingaho, alternately featuring birds (even months) and netsuke (odd months).
To mark its 10th anniversary, an interview with Her Highness (part 1) is published in the April 2021 issue.
One of her acquaintances, Mr. Watanabe Masanori, a board member and former president of Japan Netsuke Society, contributed a short article, sharing some anecdotes of the princess regarding netsuke.
