The 7th Koryuen Book Fair & Related Goods Fair was held online from January 25 to 26, 2024. (Unfortunately, for some reasons the fair was for domestic sales only.)
Just as before, the left-blade scrapers made by Komada Ryushi were sold out within three hours from the opening of the sale!
As announced (in Japanese), 5% of the sales has been donated to the Hikoju Maki-e Project (organized by Mr. Wakamiya Takashi, a leading artist of maki-e lacquer based in Wajima) to support lacquer artists who have been affected severely by the big earthquake and tsunami of January 1, 2024.
