[Catalog] Netsuke: The Prince Takamado Collection Part II

The Prince Takamado Collection comprises mostly of contemporary netsuke that HIH Prince Takamado collected for 18 years with Princess Takamado.

This catalog is Part II of the one published in 2011, and features 200 netsuke newly donated to the Tokyo National Museum in 2022.　Also included in the catalog are a chronological record of the Prince and an article by Mr. Komatsu Taishu.

The highlights of each work are valuable,
since these have been written by Princess
Takamado, who had gathered directly from
artists such information as motifs and
underlying ideas of each piece.
