The 9th Golden Netsuke Awards Ceremony was held on November 10 at Kyoto Seishu Netsuke Art Museum in the presence of H.I.H. Princess Hisako Takamado, Commissioner for Cultural Affairs, as well as the Consul General of France and the Director of the Finland Center, and their respective spouses.
At the ceremony, the five awarded artists received congratulatory addresses and were presented with trophies.
Congratulations to the following five artists for their awards!
Grand Prix: Oikawa Kukan and Kurita Motomasa
Award of Excellence: Kagami Mitsukuni and Tagami Toshi
Chairman’s Award: Sasaki Akemi
