The first solo exhibition of the netsuke artist Yoka (Mukaida). Offered for viewing and sale are her distinctive netsuke as well as calligraphy and seal carvings.

Yoka has a unique background: she studied
calligraphy at university, worked for a major
cosmetic company, and then became a
netsuke artist!

She learned netsuke carving from my father
and has a netsuke carving career of more
than 20 years, while I remember she was
good at carving from the very beginning.
