This display is strongly recommend since you can
see a wide variety of superb contemporary netsuke
by Japanese and non-Japanese artists!

A selection of antique netsuke and inro from the
museum collection are also on view on the 1st
floor of the same building.

In 2022, the Museum published a catalogue of netsuke newly donated from the Prince Takamado collection. Click here for details.

Princess Takamado recently published a book. Although the text is all in Japanese, the photos taken by the Princess are fascinating! Click here for more information.
