[Exhibition / Kyoto] The Pipe Case: Smoking Paraphernalia As Personal Adornment

This exhibition showcases a variety of pipe cases from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period, including unsigned pieces and those produced by masters such as Ishikawa Komei/Mitsuaki.

Note: This is not a netsuke exhibition, but is mentioned here as related to netsuke. On the first floor of the museum is a display of artistic crafts from the late Edo and the Meiji periods, including netsuke, inro, and sword fittings.
